Summary
The Application Engineer for Embedded Software is responsible for delivering industry-leading embedded software solutions for customers in aerospace, military, automotive, railway and industrial markets. The job involves travelling extensively to customers and industry conferences to take part in safety-critical embedded software development and/or verification processes, deliver training, technical workshops, and consulting.

Responsibilities
• Develop safety-critical embedded software including model-based design
• Target and host verification of safety-critical embedded software
• Complete related documentation and improve software lifecycle
• Deliver safe, viable and robust product solutions SCADE
• Provide training and consulting services for engineering teams
• Lead successful technology evaluations to win new business
• Work closely with the customer to define projects and design, along with identifying areas to be improved in the customer’s software processes
• Coordinate the effective utilization of NUMESYS/ANSYS resources, including sales, business development, marketing, support services, and executive team members, coordinate with ANOVA resources, including hardware, system, configuration management, quality, project team members.

Minimum Qualifications
• A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Software, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience in creating and delivering embedded software, more professional experience or Master Degree and aviation experience is a plus
• Strong programming skills in C and embedded software are required
• Strong experience in MCUs (e.g. TI C2000, TI Hercules, STM32)
• Experience in non-application abstraction coding including communication(e.g. RS232, RS485, RS422, CAN, TCP/IP, I2C, ARINC–429, AFDX, MIL-STD-1553), data acquisition(e.g. GPIO, ADC (4-20mA, 0-10VDC, RTD), DAC) interrupt, and timers.
• Familiar with model-based design technology, including hardware, software, and prototyping solutions
• Ability to learn new technology and adapt it to deliver robust software solutions
• Experience in model-based software development solutions (e.g. SCADE, Simulink, Rhapsody, LabView) is a plus
• Familiarity in safety-critical standards such as DO-178, IEC 61508, EN 50128 or ISO 26262
• Fluency in English and Turkish
• Business travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with safety-critical model-based SW development, and verification (e.g. Requirement-based, Coverage analysis)
• Experience in requirement management (e.g. DOORS, Polarion)
• Experience with configuration management processes (e.g. Jira, SVN)
• Experience in real-time operating system (RTOS) and single-board computers
• Experience in software architectures, layer abstraction, and lifecycle methodologies
• Strong commitment to teamwork and the success of others
